What would be fair for a stone knife blade?
« on: November 21, 2011, 10:30:13 pm »
I'm not certain what I have to trade other than bow fishign spools

I'm interested in a knife blade.  Preferably from a cool rock.

Will this do?
I have two available.  Burlington Chert, 3.25" long.

Rounded Base one is heat treated, so it's a little pinkish colored.  Other one is raw, white with gray flecks.

Unfortunately I have started knapping since this was posted.  I swore I'd draw teh line at bow making,  Then I added in arrows, cause what are you going to shoot... but those cool tips kept catching my eye.

Planing to haft my first knife this weekend.
