osage short bow

hello , this one i made from a downed osage tree that had been struck by lightning , i found it working in tishomingo and had to try to get a bow out of it even though it was pretty charred.  you can still see some of the char especially on the tip, it is 54" overall 53"ntn 40# @ 25" shoots pretty good  not great just good ;) thanks for looking tell me what you think.
also it is rawhide backed...

Cool story for a bow. Naturally heat treated ;)  was it a natural reflexed stave?

I would have finished it with bearfat and called it "Greased lightning" ;)

Nice bow.  I like all of the pin knots on the belly.  Is that a rawhide backing?  Sapwood on the back?  If you paint it, leaving the belly as is, gets my vote!
