I've got the John C. Whittaker and The Art of Flintknapping by D.C. Waldorf.  Both of which have good info in them.  Matter of fact, I've been considering putting them up for trade.  If you're interested in these particular books, and have anything to swap just let me know.

I think the rock is native flint to Florida seeing that most of it was found around a Lake Thonontassa, AKA Big Flint.

It is a $65 million dollar mansion now covered with landscape and the owner could care less about the History. They pulled out hundreds of pieces frome there. It is off Ft. King Hwy next to Alex Sink's mansion!

On the North shore, used to be a big orange grove  on the property? And looking at your stash, it is nice, Heat treaded chert and coral.

You are correct, you know the area well, It is the owner of Lazy Days RV, I did security for him for a few years. On top of what you saw in the picture I have two large piece maybe 15 to 25 pounds a piece, i tried to post the picture but it said it was a security violation. I bet we have a few friends in common with the artifacts! My friend Rene, a surveyer has a huge collection. Here is a Osceola Greenbriar i found!
