im not buying or selling anything but i need help with a bull snake question. what is a fair price for a near 6ft long perfect bull snake skin. skinned and salted.

Why salted? No need to salt, just peel, tack to a board and dry.
I'd like to have one 6ft long, that would more than cover any of my bows.

5 years ago before I joined I was looking to tan my skins with glycerin and denatured alcohol. I emailed Pappy and he told me the same thing: skin em, tack and let em dry in the sun.. Thats it. In our Texas heat it only takes 1/2 a day...
Gotta love those long snakes.. Most of the chicken snakes I have traded have been well over 60 inches

The ones I have dried in the sun only took a few hours. If it was cool I dried them in the garage and they were dried overnight. It's very simple to do and only takes a couple of minutes to skin a snake.
