My gosh!!  Neat.  I'm impressed with that horn/carp skin combo.  That is attractive.  I imagine it really spits em out too.

I've been thinking about a bow just like this for a couple of years now but never attempted it.
You did a very nice job with this bow!  8)

Horn was cut in half, flattened with heat the put thru a drum sander to get to about 3/16th of and inch.  The bow started as a selfbow, but was my first try at this design I missed weight by 15 pounds, so I decided to try to bring it up to weight.  One layer of sinew and the horn brought weight up 25 pounds.   Recently retillered to 55lbs.

AWESOME......that pretty much sums it up.

That'll do ;D Very nice, you could pike it back to 65# and send er on up here to Canada ;)
Seriously, you could have gone a bunch shorter with the horn and sinew combo, not that it is too long, but think of the possibilities.(light bulb above the head smiley needed here)
Very nice work, I love the contrast.

I'm hopeful this will make for an easy vote next time around... For a change... Thanks for that!
