I have a buddy named Josh that has recently become interested in primitive archery.This weekend I went to his house to help coach him in the ways of bow building. He caught on quick and soon had a nice red oak board well on the way to being his first bow.It's 72 tip to tip,1.5 inches wide fading to 1/2 inch tips. it pulls about 47# @ 26" right now. Got about 2 inches more to tiller for a 28" draw. I was working on a hickory flatbow in between helping him. We had great time and I am looking forward to next weekend. I'm gonna help him finish his bow up and help another guy get one started.
