I am so looking foreward to this!.........I already have plans on little extras I'm gonna throw in........silencers and a bow sock for sure........waiting to see whose name I get before I pick a piece of wood though.......gotta match the draw weight and length and such to the stave......plus some staves are just made for left or right hand specifically. Can you tell I'm excited ;D I might have to buy a stave if none of my meager supply will suit......good excuse to buy two to save on shipping ;) ;D

OOOO AAAAAHH bow sock and silencers thats a nice little bonus, im getting excited for this too. It seems like every time I make a bow for myself I give it away so I never have anything to shoot lol this will give me an excuse to hold on to one ;D and give one away, only a few more days till we find out who were gonna get. I talked to calendergirl again and she said she is ready for names and info when the time comes ;D
my friends think my shops a mess, my wife thinks I have too much bow wood, my neighbors think im redneck white trash and they may all be right on the money!!

This is the updated list, let me know if something is wrong or needs changed and I will fix it. Also I put a GOOD at the end of your info if I have your address. If there is not a GOOD after your info I need you to pm it to me please so the person makeing your bow can ship it to you.

Pat b announced:  Monday, February 28, 6:00pm will be the deadline to sign up for the bow trade. No one will be accepted after that time! Once all the names are in and all the info is correct the builder/reciepient will be pared up .Also July 4th, 2011 is the absolute last ship date!, You can ship your bow when you are satisfied it is finished and shot in well. We want to keep the reciepient suprizes good ones!, every bow shipped should be shootable on arival. A note enclosed with the bow you ship out will help you and your reciepient become more familiar with each other. Other pertainent info included should be the wood used, overall length(either n/n or t/t), draw weight and length. One of the main purposes of this trade is the personal reactions and knowledge we will all share and recieve and the friendships made and/or strengthened. Also, each bow sent out should be signed by the maker, to the reciepient and dated.   Some folks use "Sharpie" indelible pens for signing a bow. I prefer India ink. Be sure whatever you use is permanent and will not fade over time. Once the due date arrives and the names are all drawn and reciepients are sellected we will start a PA Trade Bow thread to follow the progress of the trade. Also please reffer to post #155 pg.11, #143 pg.10 if you havent read them yet.

If anyone sees any thing that needs fixed with the list, let me know please. Also when you PM me your shipping address PLEASE do it like this so I dont have to go look and find your number and write your name, I can just copy and paste

Me too.  I tried to split an osage log with a huge limb coming out of it last weekend and got a weird wide but thin split.   So, I split that in half and will debark, cut the splice and glue it up tonight.  By tomorrow I can head down to a growth ring and see what kind of a bow is hiding inside.  I gathered we're all going to do threads on our progress?
