This is just a thought:  but maybe we could get an arrow exchange going as well ? That way this fall we can all hunt with bows and arrows  that were made for us, might have more meaning and add some fun to this coming hunting season.
that sounds good, but lets have it just recomended, and not manditory, as some people may not be able to make them, or my be just learning, as myself, even though i would try
warbows and fishing, what else is there to do?

Pat will be posting the ship by date when he gets a chance but as of now I believe the end date or ship by date will be July 4th. A number of people have signed up under the impression this would end on that date and I would rather people not have to rush depending on there time frames. What are your guys thoughts on the 4 of july? I would like to hear some others opinions on this date. Thanks

I say leave it at July 4th. If the maker get everything done and ships early, fine, but there are many that signed up with the thought of the 4th.

one other question, does the 4th of july date mean that is when it has to by shipped on, be there by, or are you supposed t send earlier and that is the latest?

On the arrow subject, it should be VERY optional. If I end up drawing someone that wants a very heavy bow, I do not have the materials to make 100# spine arrows. If people want to make arrows for the bow they are making more power to them and their generosity but it should not be expected. JMO.

As far as the 4th of july I just think that the bow should be shipped by that date, if you want to ship sooner that is fine to. Nothing here is set in stone that is kinda why I think pat started this thread so we could hash out what we all want to do. If people dont speak up then there opinions wont be heard, but that is there choice. This is all of our bow trade so everyones opinion matters. As far as the arrows, This is a bow trade so we obviously cant expect to get arrows too, but if someone wants to, and feels the need to send arrows, knifes, flutes, arrow heads or a $50.00 dollar bill with the bow that is up to them I dont care lol.

Bows should be shipped by the 4th of July and arrows are the responsability of the recipient  :)

I like to tune my own arrows  :)

I bet 50's would make a great backing  :D

I think we have had a good amount of motions we  end this on the 4th of July So unless anyone objects to that, 4th of July it is. Once all the names are in and all the info is correct the builder/reciepient will be pared up .

If anyone sees any thing that needs fixed with the list, let me know please. Also when you PM me your shipping address PLEASE do it like this so I dont have to go look and find your number and write your name, I can just copy and paste

I bet 50's would make a great backing  :D

Not thinking of $50 but of $1. I figure it would still be cheaper than some of the other backing I have used. And striking!

I will have to give this serious thought. What glue do you think?
