tough couple of weeks

These last few weeks haven't been encourageing. Three bows and all of these blades. Two osage and a set of Glen St.Charles, yew billets. I was sick when it let go. I new it was going to, saw a hairline crack open up in a knot. What really sucks is the bows that blew up were almost at full tiller, likeing about three inches of finishing both. They both let go at knots, the same as the take-down osage that lifted a long splinter.
And then the points, I thought I could thin them juuust a little more. enjoy

I've felt that way once or twice. This one fellow on here felt bad for me and traded a beautiful yew stave and I ended up stressing it with 70# when I probably should have just made a 50# bow from it. Got 3 or 4 wicked shots out of it and it blew apart near the riser on one side. Probably going to make a take down bow from the other side
