The new up coming issue for Feb./March 2011 it is great you guys. Pat B the article about Tom Brennan made me cry, I really miss him.  :'( Great picture of me and Tom, I remember that day I think Pappy took that pic. Eddie (Mullet) great job on the hog hunt the article. The Medicine Man is back! I'm not going to give it away, but very excellet, way to go Hillbilly!!  :-* Wonderful job to all the Authors keep up the great work and keep the articles coming.  :)

I agree with you Tina. Made me a bit moist too.  :(  :'(    I'm glad to see Steve as our new Medicine Man. His knowledge of plants and their traditional use make him a perfect candidate for the job plus his story telling puts you right there with the band of The People.  8)
I haven't had a chance to read Eddie's article yet but we have a few rainy days coming so I will be able to read the magazine through.  Looking forward to Marc's "High Performance Selfbows"  because I'll be working on one soon(just not too high performance!  ;D ).  Jimmy's "Season to Remember" looks very interesting too as well as Jonathan Hall's article on "Shellac..."Dane's description of the "New England Primitive Skills Gathering", and the rest.

Great issue... Really liked the TomB article alot... Wish I could have got to know him as well as some of you guys did.  Overall this is one of my favorite issues... great balance on subject matter and very informative.  Awesome job guys!  :)

Thanks Tina, Pat, and Josh. I was chicken to try and write one but it was fun. Pat's article really got me to missing Tom. I was thinking about him this year when I was hunting by myself at Cade's. I was really suprised when I saw Steve as the new "Medicine Man", that was really good Steve. Danes article, Jimmy's, and Jonathans were great.

It was cool reading a magazine and knowing almost everyone in it.

Pat, you did good telling Tom's story--I miss him a lot. Eddie, you need to write more, that was a good story. Everybody did some good writing this issue-great stuff from cover to cover.

Steve, I really enjoyed your Medicine Man. I always did like your rendition of primitive activities that went on in the Eastern Woodlands. Looking forward to more treasures. It's funny, I rarely read the "other" Medicine Man articles for some reason unless a specific topic of interest.
Eddie I got to your story today at my real estate office. Been kinda slow there lately. I can almost see the hogs and food plots and swamps of Alexicarrie plantation from all the first hand stories I've heard from you guys. Now you have a new carreer.
Josh, Tom was a great guy. A bunch of us here had lots of good times together. His illness and death was quite a shock to us all.

I have yet to subscribe to P.A. (I thought I was getting a subscription for Xmas, but got all 4 TBB's instead), but was wondering if subscriptions are sent out before the magazine hits the newstands?  It always seems like a lot of people get it weeks before I see it in stores.  Guess I gotta subscribe :)

Camaroo, subscriptions are sent out before PA hits the news stand.  Authors in each issue get a preview copy first, about a week before the subscriptions go out.  Steve Parker(Hillbilly) and myself used to be the absolute last folks to get their subscriptions so we started writing articles so we could get ours first!  ;D
