Hmm.... I haven't posted anything on here in a while, so here goes-
This is my latest project:
I had been thinking about doing some inlay work on a knife handle for a while, and then I got to thinking that if I don't start something, I'll never do anything! So I got started.

The handle is hickory darkened with an ebony stain and the blade was cut out of a circular saw blade. What is the name for the piece between the blade and handle? -That part is made of cow horn.
The inlay work is various beads set into the wood in a 'moon and stars' formation. Overall, the knife is 6" long, and the blade is 2 3/4".
On this knife, I tried for the first time to do some vinework on the back of the blade. I think it turned out pretty well for my first time.

What are y'all's suggestions for polishing the blade? Not to a mirror finish, but a bit more than it is now.
