birch arrows

made a couple of birch arrows this weekend , they are deer antler tips w/ turkey feather fletching . i havent made very many arrows so any critiqueing is  welcome

    Very nicely done, sir. The woodland 2 fletch, with the broadhead, should be really quiet in flight because of the softer feather texture (as opposed to primaries). Also the "pointed" head is not at all uncommon for a lot of woodland hunting and war arrows.

hey, those look pretty good!  ive never tried out the two fletch.  may need to get a few feathers and try it out..

the broadhead is fairly sharp , it took a pretty good edge . i was thinkin of adding some serrades to give it a little kick.

Very nice arrows. Where did you get the birch shafting? 
  Try laying the feathers with the shiny side against the bow with the 2fletch.  They lay flatter and make them quieter. Adding some twist helps too.

Let me just say those are some very nice arrows. I like the one with the straight tip, very nice, reminds me of the medeival broadheads even though doesnt look at all like em. I can just imagine those tipes going through chain mail when the spaniards encounter the florida Natives..
