south Kansas buck
« on: November 20, 2010, 12:40:23 pm »
shot him thursday evening around 5:30. called him in with short grunts and bleats. he was chasing a doe in a pecan orchard along the Arkansas river. at 15-20 yards i drew and released, hitting him broadside through the lungs, complete pass through. i used a 68 pound, 62" osage bow, a little over 1" wide. the arrow was rivercane with hardwood shoot foreshaft. enjoy.
