Some more baskets

I thought I would send a picture of a double woven basket my wife makes and a original cherrokee basket made back in early 1900.

Very nice work by your wife and the original Cherokee basket is very cool too. Is it made with split cane?

Hey Pat ,the cherokee basket is single woven with walnut and bloodroot dye.The basket is split cane and dates back to early 1900.The basket my wife made is double woven reed it is also cherokee design.
