Powder Paint ?
«

I saw on a old thread on arrow making where Pat B used powder paint.
I have some I've used on fishing jigs. How can it be used to paint bows or crest arrows?

I've mixed it with watered down white glue(Elmers) and with pitch varnish. You can also rub it into the wood and seal over it.

Thanks Pat. I might do some experimenting and add heat to the mixture.

I've had good luck with a matte acrylic base, and finishing with oil based finishes. Also you can make a base from hide glue.
