here is my first try at an ottawa bow.its 52" nock to nock made from an ash board that wasnt very good as far as violated grain so I cut a thin slice off of it and glued it back on to make a backing.its 1"3/8" wide at the handle tapering out to just over a 1/2" at the tips.I coloured the bow using "scuff coat" shoe polish the kind of stuff that has a sponge end on the bottle that is used as an applicator,over that i used a little danish oil.many thanks to rich (half eye) for his advice.it pulls 40#@26".thanks for looking.

I bought some very similar dye the other day to dye a sheath, may just have to try that my self
