Hmmmm The blue spruce was the clunker

. I believe it was a old milk of magnieze bottle, somebody thru it in my bucket when I first started knapping. I finally dug it out but I needed to get the base thinner so my nothches would have been better. Seems like every point that I make no matter what width ends up a 1/4 thick just can,t quite crack the barrier. Anyways it is a real pretty cobalt blue. I don,t like doing glass but every body seems to like the pretty colors. Maybe I should do more of them (not)

My favorite part of knapping is taking a big pc an making a nice thin preform. Thanks for all the comments an lookin. Bob
