Question about heat bending yew

 I am working on a piece of yew I've had for a while now.  It was a really thin stave, so I decided on more of an english inspired design. It is a touch short (66"), so I wanted to heat bend in some reflex in the outer limbs and correct the alignment at mid limb.  The bow currently has a D cross section, and it relatively thick compared to all the flatbows I have done in the past. I am a little apprehensive about trying to bend it, especially using steam.   What is the preferred method of heat bending yew wood when a D cross section is sought?

I've straightened a deflexed limb of a Yew longbow stave, mid limb D section, no prob' I use steam.
Half hour in the steam, clamp it up quick as you can, leave it overnight (prob doesn't need that long, but it adds to the suspense... )

The only way I've bent yew is with boiling, but that was just the tips. I think steaming would work fine.
