Hey oneeye, don't know if anyone has asked yet, but are you going to the Classic by chance? if so, you should bring that bow and some of those arrows. I'd love to get a close look at that thang.

StevenT,  wish I was goin down there but its just not in the cards this year :'( , just to far from Idaho and can't take that much time off.

I will be down at the flight shoots this year. Anyone have a good source of linen for strings the stuff I got from pyro seems to break on me cost me a nice bow last time. :o   Scott

Oneeye, its not all about where you place your fingers on the string but it does make a difference, hand placement is very critical, if you grip the bow your actually not putting the pressure on one spot but on the whole area, also if you heal the bow it will cause more pressure on the lower limb, is that clear as mud :) my grip style is very unorthodox as I always place my left pinky tucked under against the handle so I won't heal the bow and most always put the pressure right at the thumb index finger, just a tad above center. again your crafting skills are highly desirable, nice to see that.

... and honestly any critique is welcome.  It'll just make the next one that much better.  ;D
...

Honestly I don't see very much headroom for that!  8) 8) 8)

Drop dead gorgeous!  That bow is absolutely stunning.  Really, it's flawless perfection.  What a fantastic piece of art!  You won't even have to shoot deer and ruin those beautiful arrows.  They'll simply be mezmorized with that setup and fall over dead!  ;D

oneeye, I meant no disrespect for your great example of crafting the bow, your skills are well liked.

JD, absolutely none taken, You make gorgeous bows and I would like to thankyou personally for hosting your bow page a few years back. The bbo buildalong brought my bowmaking to a new level.  ;D  Is that still somewhere on the net? I've looked recently and couldn't find it. Thanks again,  Scott
