Big Cypress Shootout (Pic Heavy)
« on: February 28, 2010, 11:10:44 pm »
Well, I made it to the event on both Saturday and Sunday.  Saturday was great for me and because the weather stunk.  It started raining when I arrived so I hunkered down under the tarp with Claude Van Order and got a 4 hour private flintknapping tutorial.  Can't say how nice Claude and his wife Debbie are.  Their dog Rocco is cool too.  I've actually picked up some skills to where I can make a point that doesn't completely suck, now.  Whew Hoo!  Today was the much better day.  Simply perfect weather and my wife Angie when nuts taking pictures at my request.  I'll be loading them up here...

OK, that crocodile tail quiver has got to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

What?!  Don't tell me that we crossed paths and I didn't even know it.  Bob, which picture is of you?
I'm blaming it all on my wife, Bob.  It's all on her.  Really.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it... ;D
You see the picture of her at knife point?  I think they caught her trying to take secret pictures!  Ha!

I 3rd the absolute coolness of the alligator quiver.  I don't have a quiver at all so of course my envy is exponentially higher than normal.  Nice pics too.  Some really impressive get ups there!!!
