Also getting gear together for Elm Hall, my first shoot, so a little exited.

I have an old bow that I just refinished for it, photos to come.

That knife will look great, is that a Damascus steal blade?

You're right, waste not want not. They have their place, like my soaking corner of the atmosphere.

Yea glass I know, I have several, I don't shoot them and haven't for years but still have absolutely no problem with them.Yes it is Damascus a friend of mine forged , I gifted him some old steel I had and he later came back and gifted me this blade, he does very nice work and I hope to make him proud with a nice white tail antler handle, we will see ,steal lots of ways for me to mess it up.

I was kind of planning on it, and I didn't think so.

I'll be bringing my trade bow if I can get it shooting in time. I just found that the last two months of high humidity has weakened my bows and weighed down my arrows, so I have some testing to do.

Headed North to ElmHall MI. Stick bow shoot Sunday morning and won't be back until the 9th or 10th. Hope to see some of yall there. It is a great place and very good people. I can hardly wait, and I think the weather is cooler also. Life is Good.

55 degrees in the U.P. this morning, typically mid 70s during the day. The Mitten is hotter; You must be cooked down in Tenn.

Finely got most everything put away and caught up on my sleep, loved the trip but always good to be home. Took a few pictures but was pretty busy cooking and shooting and lots of just hanging out, very good vacation for me and I think all the rest. Our camp at ElmHall, of course we kept the fire going for a week.

I stayed in the bus,

brought lots of bows to shoot and shot them all , always kept good cooking coals .

Lot's of just hanging out by the fire. I got the pleasure of meeting Tradecraftman and his dad and brother, very nice guys and enjoyed the time we spent talking.
