Waht a wet weekend, rain , rain and more rain, at least it was good for my new pond. Had a great time all the same. Only 2 deer checked in at the 26 Deer Classic which was very below normal but a great gathering. I will have some pictures up of the event soon, but right now the rain has stopped for a while and I am headed to the woods. !!!

Rain again so I will try and post some pictures, The get together Sunday evening after hunting, rained all week end but we had a good meal and success by 2.

The wood for the trophies came from my old smoke house. Traditional team winners was Michael Wyatt/Jimmy Blackmon and Kevin Brown and overall winner was Keith Vaughn with a good score on the course and a 5 point. Nice job Keith.

Beau and Me at Big Fish lake where we spiked camped and also in the burn area.

It will take years for it to recover.

Us up at lake Guilen, a dead lake at about 11000 feet, we had a break and lunch there. beautiful area.

Florance lake from the top, in all we seen 6 different lakes then Took a days rest and went into Meeker to relax and have a store bought meal and supplies.

Then back to Bolder where Beau got his deer , was late back to spike camp after taking care of the deer , but never to late to enjoy a nice fire.

Packed out the spike camp and deer , then back strap and trout for supper, hard to beat that.

What a great time we had, it will long be remembered and who knows we may just get the chance to do it again before 30 more years pass.
