Glen mentioned our trip to LBL over 20 years ago with Greg and also Gary was there, this picture is on my cabin wall and I think of them both often, I added the circles that is of Greg and Glen, Gary is in the back row behind Greg and Beau. Then Will and me got on the napping pit, our gold is for him to be able to stand up, we figure if he can , most anyone can. Got it looking good and ready for the Classic.

Deer brats for lunch, some new arrows for the bow I redone, looks like Christmas  I trade feathers for arrows, good deal for me and also with the price of feathers now days a good deal for them.  Then back to work on the gravel , got 5 loads hauled in so should help if it happens to rain on the Classic. Place is looking pretty good so far.

A good fire and some night shooting, we can light up our mini practice range and have a lot of fun shooting it after dark. Had a lot show up to vist Dave, he really draws a crowd .

Somebody always donates a 20$ and we will fold it up small and put it in a tough spot on one of the targets, cheap entertainment

Dave won the 20 so I put a 5 on one of the close targets for the kids to shoot, they had a blast shooting at it and some good practice for them. A good friend found 2 baby snapping turtles crossing the road above the cabin, I though I would put them in my fish tank at least until they got a little bigger, went well for a few hours then they decided to move on, not sure but probable wound up in the creek. Got the trophies all finished up for the Classic, just need the stickers and they are ready to go. 1 MORE THING OFF THE LIST.!!!

Ya me to WB  Got a doctors app. this morning on my knee,it is doing ok but still lower leg and foot swelling when I stay on it to long, hope that get better soon because in less than a month I will be on it a lot. Then headed to the cabin for the weekend, DaveO is coming in again for opening day of Turkey and to hang out, I have lots of other things to do but may give it a short go Saturday morning.Hope yall have a good one.       Life is Good.

Had a great weekend with Dave, he did kill a Turkey but I lost my camera ,AGAIN, finely found it in the glove box of my truck, I ant sure what' s going on but can't seem to remember anything anymore, got a lot on my mind right now I guess did get a lot of stuff done , just no pictures, I will try and do better. Life is good.

Thanks Damon ,good to hear from you, hope you can make it back some day if not maybe see you at ElmHall. We had a great weekend, stayed very busy and got a ton of stuff marked off my list, I think we are about ready, a few loose end left to take care of but the main stuff about finished, hope so because expecting people to start rolling in about Friday and over the weekend. Early part of the week had some friends of Will's come in and make their first Bow, BigA and Will walked them through it and both came out with nice shooting bows. Nice guys, some kind of country music singers.

 One of the guys had the cutest puppy, Annie really had a time playing with him. My buddy Doug and also my buddy John from AK. killed Turkeys so I am getting stocked back up, as if I need any more feathers, guess a man can't have to many.

Wings /wing bones and legs all taken care of and ready for a project when I get time. More gravel down in some camping areas and Self bow challenge trophies all finished up.
