Got the building ready for trusses and roof, Hope to get that done Monday and Tuesday. Jeffery in the club has a skid steer with jaws on it, it was a big help with the brush, we cut out the big stuff and drug it with my tractor to the camp ground where it will be cut up for fire wood and Jeffery hauled and stacked the brush to burn. :)

Got about half the logs cut into fire wood, after 2 days hard work the place in looking better, I plan on sewing it down with something this spring, won't look the same but think it will look good just the same. :) Getting quite the collection of bone handle tool and such, people are always asking what do you do with all them bones you collect, this is what.  ;) :) :)

Back strap for supper, the brush pile burned well into the night, me and the girls kept check on it until late and the wind laid, if fact it was still full of hot coils this morning and probably will be for a while. Hope yall had a good one also. Merry Christmas to all my buddies, remember the reason for the season. :) Life is Good.  :)

Looks like another productive yet enjoyable weekend pappy. Those grapple buckets are great for cleaning up brush. Those coals and any wood that isn’t completely burned to ash can stay hot for a few days if you have some bigger stuff in there. Some big piles of stumps we sift through the ash and expose the coals and unburnt bits to air. Then put them close together to allow them to burn clean.

Those back straps will definitely help with the job.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas Pappy

That area sure will look different with the trees gone and a new shed. At least you shouldn't have to worry about a tree falling on the new shed. It's gonna be nice.
Hope you, Miss Joanie and your kids and grand kids have a Merry Christ, Pappy. Should be fun with the grand kids at their ages.
