I love those mocassins, my pair showed up here two weeks after the Classic. I wasn't expecting them that quick so I had to sell a few bows to pay for them. I'll be hunting in them this year.

I got the ankle/calf high ones in dark brown with padding. When I get home from work my boots come off and they go on. And, it is Poppen Moccasins. Unfortunately for me they came at the same time I paid for my new Bear bow, and the gator permits came in the same day, so I lightened up on some bows and made room for some more ;D.

I wore the knee highs yesterday to the cabin ,believe it or not they ant hot at all like I thought they would be. ???  Felt really good on the gravel, plan on taking them to MI. I rubbed them down with meek oil also and that darkened them up a bit,I like the color better now.  :) Very cool and I think will be worth the cost. :)

Hmm starting to look like going you know where is getting to be a habit you may need to seek professional help. Ron ;D >:D
If we can't help each other what is the point of being here?

What kind of soles do the moccasins have, Jon you said you wore them hunting, how do they hold up to the elements?
We don't have any Amish up here, closest thing is Dana, but he probably cusses to much.
Man, Sally is sure growin up, Zoey is over 30lbs now. She's darn smart I'll tell you that.

Love it Mark,I am so glad she is working out,Sally was 28 last week and growing like a weed. :) :) I think the soles are pig skin, seem very tough and I think will hold up good, the soles are guarantied for life ,just send them back she told me if they wear out and she will re do them. We will see about that. :-\ Great weekend, got all my stuff together for ElmHall /some bushhogging done/My Osage finished/Sour wood arrows ready to fletch and a few other little projects done. Also ate good and had lots of friends over to hang out.Hard to beat that.
My new Moccasins, man they wear nice. My Osage finished, all but skins but ant sure on that yet so I sealed it for now. :) I may skin it when I get back from ElmHall. :)

8 sour wood shafts spined/straightened and ready to seal and fletch, and getting the feathers ready, some folks like to strip them,I prefer them  split and ground :)
Jon on another string for a bow he is trading off. :) Sally just resting and taking it all in.  ;) :) Man she is a laid back and sweet dog, just like her mom Sadie and aunt Hannah :)
