Looks like y'all had a grand weekend Pappy. Lots of nice critters fell to well placed arrows. Good food, good company and good times. You have a little slice of heaven right there.  ;)

Congrats to all.   Did ya leave any deer for Nov.? haha
Can't wait to get in on the fun.  We (I) start Oct. 6th my buddy put The Bear Stand in a great thick spot that should get them close. or at least I hope.  Great trail at 10yrd. and even some fresh early srapes and rubs.
I call a lot of people brother, but only count a few as family.

You know you are a deer hunter when your skinning rack is right next to the kitchen. ;D

Mickey, If you think Pappy's place is a piece of heaven, you ought to see it in the spring. Maybe you can make the Tenn Classic(TOJam) next year.     Pat

Thanks Pappy. This is the first time I've ever written such a story. My old english teacher would be doing flips in her grave! :o     I didn't want to insult you with a redneck comment like calling you a red neck. ;D

Pappy,

I guess Grant will forever be the "People's Champion"...  ;D  He will go down in history with folks like Michael Jordan, Larry Byrd, and Joe Montana!

Going to spend the day today on the 270 acres I have access to. Will be a great day. Gonna get some scouting done, hopefully cut some bow wood,
and best off all build an oak fire and cook some dinner and then sit one of stands till dark. Season opens Monday. Life will be good today ;D

Wow pappy that sure looked like a lot of fun. Nice cooler, is it electric of what? It looks like you all need more space to hang deer and such. Cant wait til I can get back into the woods. What is your deer limit? Keep the pics coming.
