Pappy, that snake bow is sure a sweet shooter! I didn't get to see that last point Jesse was working on, wow! I'm not sure how many of the hickory bows we got reflexed, I did five myself Saturday...I think we're probably about half done at this point.
I worked on tips almost all day Sunday. Was just about to finish the second tip on JT's bow, and a big junk of the coco-bolo broke off ruining the tip. I've got another piece glued on to give it another try with. I'm almost finished on the tips for Jan's bow, a good friend that we haven't seen for a long time that is coming to the Classic. BigA, Pappy, and I have made a joint effort on making him a bow. BigA donated a really fine osage bow he had started some time back and had it somewhere between floor tiller and low brace. Pappy and I got it to around 23" Saturday afternoon, then Pappy did a fine job of heat-treating the bow. I worked on putting tips on it yesterday, and will do the finish job on it. Hope he like's it!
