Friday and headed out in a little while, hot here but got some things planned just the same. Got another knife ready for tempering and maybe some bow work in the shop under the fan.

We have a club meeting and club shoot in the morning that should be fun also. Hope yall have a good one also and stay cool.

Great weekend but man was it hot, had a good club meeting Saturday morning and then a fun club shoot, but of of the time spent in the shop working on knives and bows under the fans.

Some arrows Dan made up for me, I plan on taking them to Elm Hall.Jon showed up and making strings as usual. Chuck working on the bows we spliced last week. Sally and sister just resting after a long hot run.

Blade after 2 hours in the oven at 375, cleaned up and in the vinegar for 4 minutes. Jon still at his string work.

Chuck's Billets spliced and ready to glue up. Little John working on a knife and my blade with handle fitted and glued up, ready for sanding and sealer.

Ya Kevin it is a big one for sure, I wanted to do a Bowie but some parts of a Bowie I don't really like so I just winged it as I seem to do a lot.

Friday and headed to the cabin in a short while, got a few things to do but mostly get everything ready for my trip North [ElmHall] headed out Sunday for 7 or 8 days. Hope yall have a good one and also hope to see some of my Yankee buddies at the event. I feel sure I will see a few and really looking forward to it
