Got a stand made for my new knife, wished I done leather but since I don't I just make stands for the knives I really like, don't need another hobby anyway. :o ::) ;) :) Then Saturday between storms Jon/Dan and Myself went out and shot the practice course, I got to give my latest bow a work out, it shot really nice and seem to be holding up fine, should be able to take some critters with it this fall and winter. Also always fun to shoot with you buddies. ;) Hope yall had a good one also. Life is Good. :)

Pappy I've been pretty busy last four or five weeks. I just had to check up on you this morning. Went back about four pages and can see you've been busy to. Love that starlight night bow. Those skins look great on it and the name fits her perfectly. Hopefully I can sneak out to Elm Hall and see you there.

Not sure about all that Shawn but the bow does shoot pretty good. ;) Had a great day with Margaret Ann yesterday, she is really growing and coming into her own, man time flies.  ??? Headed to Nashville this morning for a visit with the guys I worked with, look forward to seeing them again, I try and stay in touch at least once every month or so. :)

Friday and headed to the cabin in a little while, no big plans except Woody and I are going to drag some big cedar logs out and he is bringing his chain saw mill and we plan on planking them out, then tomorrow I am going to the Buck Hollow charity shoot. That should be fun. Hope yall have a good one also. Life is Good. :)

What a great weekend, hot but fun, got a lot done around the shop and also went to a shoot on Saturday at Buck Hollow and had a great day of shooting fellowship. Few pictures. Got a new shovel and rake handle put in and ready to seal Friday along with some weed spraying around the place.  ;) 1 Handle is HHB and the other Elm, should last a long time. :)Not the straightest handles but line up with the tool very well with some character. :)

Woody showed up early Saturday and we pulled some ERC out of the wood that had been down a few years, he brought his Alaskan Chain saw mill and we made planks out of them, I got to have one of them things. We got 14 planks , some as much as 12 inches wide of heart wood. :) They will be great for projects. :)

Also cut some walnut, the crouch and it was beautiful. Took a little time and helped Shawn drill some holes for the handle on his Machete and then sweet corn over the fire for lunch. :)

Then in the evening I laid out a large file knife. Chuck showed up for some bow work. He wanted to clean up the ones we spliced last weekend, they came out nice. :)

Chuck got both bows cleaned up, laid out and cut out, good evening. I got my knife roughed out and handle fitted.  :)

Then I took our new sprayed out for one last run and when I got back my brother had brought my special Niece Issy over for a visit, she love the
place and headed straight for the creek to harass the craw fish and minnows. We added them to my little frog pond. The last picture was of us at the shoot, had 8 or 10 TwinOaks guys make it and had a great day. ;) :)
