I just keep coming back and looking at them. They're ALL beautiful!   I don't even like to write, and I can't wait to use mine ;D

i just meant that it doesn't show the glass like shine of the polyester resin

Ok Sterling, after many attempts here is what I came up with. I finally found an easy way to make these. this is my first calligraphy dip pen :)  thanks for putting up with the wait
the nib I put in to show what it looks like with one in, since you said you have your own to use.

skyarrow I'm in the process of making your second pen, the ballpoint for your dad.
NTD finally casted up the two slimline blanks I owe you, this is your update, I will hopefully have time on this upcoming 4 day weekend to turn both your pens as well as skyarrow's, sorry all for the delays, school has been rough in preparing for my AP (advanced placement) tests >:(

is there any convenient place to buy the ink for calligraphy pens? Ive made a couple of crude ones by super imposing the ink sticks out of cheapo pens into turkey feathers, but have kinda been wantin to try some more serious ones
