A Bow for Art
« on: January 04, 2010, 07:03:06 am »
GregB and myself decided a few months ago to build a bow for a good old friend of ours.Art,
he his an older guy[76] that hangs around the club all the time. He is from up North so we ofter refer to him as out token Yankee. :) Gret guy and an inspertion to us guy.Hope you and he likes it.
It is Osage 40 @ 26 66 tip to tip. He helped as I was getting it tillered,he thinks it for a friend we have in AK. So he has shot it but didn't know it was for him.We plan on giving it to him at the next meeting on the 16th. :) It was a joint effort ,I build the bow and Greg done his thing on the finish work. :)

Art is a lucky guy.  You guys did some great work,  I really like those antler overlays.  All that beautiful work for a Yankee, you guys really do have big hearts. ;D

Great looking bow.  Been gone a long while, so it's good to see what everybody has been up to.

Nice bow there Pappy and Greg!  I remember awhile back reading you were making Art a bow and you were letting him shoot it all the while thinking it was for someone else.  I am glad to see it finished up!!  Remember to take pics of him on the big day he is in for a big ole awesome surprise with this one.  Tiller and finish work look outstanding of course!   :)  -josh
