Ishi did not become the arrow, I suspect. The arrow became Ishi.

cool to see it wiggle around like that...hard to believe they do that every time, and yet archers can still get tight groupings!

The archer's paradox, caught on camera. However, 1000 fps? I don't think so. 100 fps maybe.  ;D

Yeah I'm sure since it is film they are talking frames per second.

It's astounding we can hit anything.

I can't hit anything and I'm going to use this video as my excuse from now on.

Yeah I need to clarify...I'm lucky to hold a 12" pattern at 30ft.

Matthias, thanks for sharing your video. It is really amazing to watch the arrow's paradox in slow motion. Your bows seem to shoot pretty well in cooler temperatures. In what temperatures do you normally shoot?

I love these kinda vids.Seems to me he could raise his nockpoint a bit and get rid of that bump in his flight,as it passes over his hand.

Seemed so to me as well, but it looked like he shoots like me...I don't have a marked nock point.  I'm pretty good about keeping my arrows in the right spot, though.  His were striking pretty good.  I shoot bare handed, though, so it only took one or two feather stripping the skin off my hand to learn how to do it right.
