Just got back from a week-long hunting trip and had two packages from Tim and Brian- very nice points, I'll get pics up tomorrow. Didn't have a chance to get by the post office before my trip, but my points should go in the mail tomorrow.

Its been here a week now .... Here is the pic's of my PITH point ...It is some nice flint and nice deep flake scars ...  It looks good in my PITH case..Tim can you tell me what the matreal is

          its one  of my first percussion points,with some light flaking on the edge.i think its either keokok or burlington
          dont really remeber,its just some rock i bought at a knapp in last summer.or its something else lol
i always wanted a harley,untill it became the "thing to ride"
i ride because i love to,not to be part of the crowd

Sailordad ...I like it a lot ..I am working on my percussion flaking also...I got to doing  FOG points and never got good at percussion  and it shoes on my abo stile points....BUT I like all kinds of Knapping...Thanks for the point..I went down to the river the outher day and got some flint (950 LBS ) to work on my percussion ..

looks like you got plenty of material to practice percussion on
wish i could just go down to the river and collect good rock
seems like all we have is granite type rock,and other real grainy types

Well I'm sure this point had been here for a while, but I just finally made it to the mailbox today.

I was lucky enough to get a point from Outbackbob and its a good one.

Thanks Bob, I enjoy adding points to my OPP frame and this one will fit right in.
