Where to get a good Osage Stave
« on: August 11, 2009, 09:31:56 pm »
Hello all,
Been looking at this sight for a few weeks thanks to Buckeye Guy who I met at the last OSTA shoot. Thanks Guy.  Just wondering where would be a good place for a fairly new guy at bowmaking to get a nice Osage stave to work on.  I've looked all over the 100 acres here where I live and can't find any.  Made two bows so far and with the Osage's rep would like to try one.  Thanks for any advice. - Scott McClain

Get in touch with "Yazoo" on this site.

Yep, Mike is the guy to contact. Here are some of his staves at Twin Oaks, several more piles didn't make it in the picture.
