Here's one I'm kinda proud of. After gettin turned on to youtubes "thanks Timo" I sat around watching paleomanjim last night demonstrate how to super thin a bi-face. Bored at work so went to my favorite place in the hills here to pick up a few rocks and do some knapping. This thing isn't super thin, but I'm impressed ::). And I'll tell ya - when you've got a bi-face worked down to this point and your trying to blow a step out of the middle of it, the pucker factor will rise a notch or two :D ;D ;D. All percussion except edge touch and notching.

Cowboy, You are the "Knapperman"!!  Fantastic work.  I don't think I'll ever be able to get one that thin without breaking it in this lifetime anyway.  Great work!  Looking forward to your  next post.  I went to Weatherford last weekend and was hoping you might be there and meet you live and in person.  It was a great weekend.  Keep up the good work.  I  just noticed, is that a pet fly in your hand?

Glad to see you are on your way back Paul....Ya had me worried!! Nice Turkey Tail....I wish I had the talent you guys do ...when it comes to Points....I can build Knives and Bows....and  such...but all I can do with Rock is ...make gravel!!!

Thanks guys! That guy really did a good job of showing how to prepare the tiny isolated platforms and how to support the thing during the strike. What was his name again Shannon? Jim Winn? I'll prolly go back over there tomorrow and look for some bigger rocks and doer again. xin - those flys, skeeters, and gnats all hover in the shade as you well know here during the hot TX spring days. He just felt lucky in the sun I guess ;D.
