You boys have inspired me today with all this knappin!

Started this one last week and put it down.Just new it was gonna snap. Picked it up a bit ago and finished it.Raw tx material, 6" long.
 These points are native to my area,but most were out of burlinton.

That's a real nice'un, Tim, and good flake pattern. I like that point style, looks almost like an Eden with notches.

Good thing about these points is they are usually heavy made,strong median ridge with the flakes running up on it, which helps out when ya got some rock with length to it.

What period are those points from? They seem to fit in with that whole Eden/Scottsbluff/Cody thang.

Early archaic I believe? The dates I have are 7050-6050 BC.
