I'm taking advantage of the downtime between bows to try to catch up with my own projects.  In a couple of days I hope to post some pics of what I have been doing.  These bows are my priority though.  Justin

What a blast,  It's really cool knowing that all these awesome bowyers that I've come to know and respect through this site are jointly helping make a bow that I get to keep and shoot. On top of that I get to poor my heart into helping biuld one for each of the other participants. Each bow offering a different phase of consrtuction and it's own unique characteristics. Each bow also taking on some of the character imparted by the hands that crafted it.      Justin this is fun,   Thank you.

Pat, have fun, you have much more talent then you give yourself credit for....I've seen your work

Justin, I should be sending Chris's bow out tommarrow.      Keenan

Yes, everybody was going to make their own so the first guy in line after them could sign it.  Justin

Hey Pappy,I just got the wood yesterday.I just came in from working on Pat's bow, almost done with the tiller.I've been studying hillbilly's like a diamond cutter.I put it in my climate controlled room, (Bow and gun room with airconditioner going),last night.Well I took it out this afternoon and one tip had checked all the way trough for about 2".No biggy ,just added to the challenge of laying it out.I think it's about to be laid out as a snaky bow.I'm going to try to do it with out allot of steaming to take advantage of the knots, adds more character.Pappy I probally won't get allot done on it this weekend. The Fl. state 3-D shoot is this Fri,Sat, Sun. Also there wasn't any Birth certificates with these staves and I forgot to send one with mine.

The birth certificate I created for Pat and I is pretty simple.  I printed them on parchment paper to give them a little nicer look. Ill attach a picture of it.  If anybody wants I can print off some more and mail them out, just get me the address you want it sent to.  Justin
