I make some good homemade polish sausage, not smoked like kielbasa, but natural. Lots of marjoram in it. Hey Dana, do you eat sultze?
I know Dana knows what it is but for the rest of you it's basically pork head cheese, I know it sounds gross but it's just pork and pork fat simmered with herbs and vinegar til tender and set up with some pork gelatin so you can slice it. What about smoked chubs? you guys down south eat them? same as smoked herring.
I'll bring a cooler full of exotic yooper treats also, bring your alka seltzer and get ready for an experience.

Haven't had that in a long time, now the smoked chubs oh man couple of them and a cold beer mmmmmmm.

I don't know if there is shortage on them or what but I haven't seen any lately at the butcher shop I go to :'(

Think I better quit eating a week before the Classic, just so I have some extra room ;)

So how far from Nashville is this place? I have a buddy that lives there and I might have to go visit him? Bout a 10 hr drive. Seems I remember the Clarkville exit off I24? I usually come down from the north.

Sounds like a great time.Kinda like our Mojam?

Souse is probably the same as sultze, I think most nationalities have items that use everything and waste nothing.
I think I can get chubs for the classic, I know the folks down in Florida love um when I hog hunt there.
That and the pickled herring we get here.

Timo It is about 30 min.'s like Pat said.If you are coming in 65 ,just before you get into Nashville you bear west on 24 west and go to exit 19 you will be headed torward Clarksville/Ft. Campbell,Ky.
When you get off 19 go left back over the Interstate for about a half mile and turn right ,go 4/5 miles and watch for the signs.Hope you can make it.Sounds like there is going to plenty of food and a I might add a good selection. ;) ;D
