Pat said on the phone that I had to post this bow, so here goes. This is the first bow I've posted here too! Red oak board pyramid bow. 61" 50# @ 26". Slightly under 1 1/2 of string follow. The last five inches of each tip was narrowed and left thicker. I presented the bow to my buddy a few hours ago at a fish fry he was hosting. He was quite shocked, surprised, and happy to receive it. I left it non sanded and with no finish so he could have a hand in crafting it. Hopefully he'll be shooting it next weekend.
I forgot to take a braced picture---I hadn't made a string for it at picture taking time.




I adjusted the tiller a little from the last photo to get it to bend a little more at the fades.
