Sooo......let me get the story straight. You put down your cabinet scraper, grabbed a handful of arrows (or maybe just one), headed into the woods, whence you killed a deer.  Thence you proceeded back to the shop and finished 'er up, knowing that the thing was a great weapon. What an awesome story man! Way to be! Dave

Great looking bow, And nice deer.  That is quite a story.  Hit the woods with a bow still in the stages of finishing and come home with a deer.  You can't make that kind of stuff up.  Congats. ;D  Maybey I should give that method a try.

Thank all of you for your kind comments.  It's been one of those years where things kind of just turned out for me from hunting to bending those tips.   Hopefully that will carry on into the coming year in Afghanistan.  This is my last bow for a while due to the deployment but I got my hard case in the mail yesterday and I'll be taking this bow to combat with me.  I hope to set up an archery range on the FOB for the guys.  Again thanks for all the kind words.

Just thought I'd post my picture of the bow's second blood letting...remember my blood was the first this bow drew when the fletching got me while shooting!  ;)
