Thanks, Paul and Keenan. Glad you like them Paul. The one with color is Fancy Jasper, a real bear to knap Raw. That one has been heat treated. The other one is some of that flint Claude brought back from Denmark.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Artfully knapped beautiful stone. Cowboy you can send them on over to me and i promise not to get on the loose posting anymore, maybe. I like that simple triangular" Viking point".

Whew....Just in the nick of time. While making Thanksgiving preparation for smoking our turkey (no frying for me this year, have you seen the price of peanut oil
) I started trying to finish my point to replace the one I broke after notching and every thing. I then proceeded to ruin two more. I thought I was going to run out of rock and have to resort to Johnstone.
Finally I was able to rough out two more preforms and finish one. I should have it in the mail Friday. Nothing like waiting to the last minute is there?.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Mike

Just got home from Thanksgiving travel and Christmas came early! these lil' beauties were sittn in the mail box! From Jackcrafty, Souix style bone points, the workmanship on this dudes is top notch. they ought to stay in the haft well. Im afraid these will have to hang out in my "other peoples points" frame with the flint for me to stare at though. Thanks a million!
