i was given a 5 1/2" banana chopper today and choped a couple feathers . while looking at them i now wonder if i chop a left wing and flip it end for end if it will work as a right wing feather ?

If you flipped end for end, wouldn't the grain of the feather be backwards. On secondaries, left wing for example, the front of the feather is left wing, and I use the back part of the feather for a right wing instead of throwing them away.
