Plans for Native American Buckskin Quivers

Hi All.  I am looking for plans for making native American buckskin quivers.  Any suggestions are welcome!

Basically a Plain's style quiver is a long sleeve of soft leather with a stiffener stick attached along the top edge and the shoulder strap attached to the stiffener stick. This style quiver can be made where the fletching are covered by the sleeve or the fletching sticks out the opened end. Here are a few examples. Many of the Plain's style quivers were historically made with hait on hides but others were made with hairless buck skins. I've made both styles and they both work well.

All of mine are hand stitched but you could easily use lace to put it together.

How does one protect the quiver against sharp broadheads?

You can add a piece of foam that fits the contour of the bottom of the quiver that would hold and protect the broadheads...and the carrier.

I made one where I put a pocket of rawhide in the bottom.  It protects well against broadheads.  Sewed it in wet and stuffed it until it dried so that it forms an open cup in the bottom.
