My sons 11
« on: December 05, 2021, 11:21:47 am »
I posted these corner tang blades up top in the point of the month challenge. Hopefully someone else will post theirs. I miss the point of the month. If anyone is wondering, it’s not a competition. It’s just a challenge to yourself. To try to make a point that someone post . I think it really helps to make a point instead of just ending up with a point.

As I stated above I have a plan for these two blades. My son got his second deer. A spike. We affectionately call it a 11. 1&1. He doesn’t know I saved them. I’m making him a Christmas present.

Not quite matching, but pretty close. One spike was bigger than the other. So one blade is longer than the other.

Now I need to display them. Think I have a idea in my head.

Thanks White Falcon.

I’m getting closer to finished.

Made a little plaque for them from scrap black walnut. Here’s the back.

Have to let it dry before I can finish.

That's a keeper, BJ,  I think that will hang on his wall for a long time!

Thanks Rob

Thanks Jerry, I m guessing long after I’m gone. I know he enjoyed this hunt. Hopefully he will enjoy his 11 now and remember this hunt for a long time.
