six new arrows
« on: August 08, 2021, 03:54:23 pm »
Roy Painter(Roy in PA) from TradGang sent me a dozen Sitka spruce shafts in a White Elephant they had on TG. I made up 6 of them in the last few days. I still have to sinew wrap the self nocks and seal that and the sinew wraps at the front of the fletch.

The guy that sent the shafts to me is always joking about pink arrows, bows, etc. I did the pink crown as a joke but actually like it with the turkey feathers.  8)

Neat!  Stylish- not sure what style, but stylish (lol). The pink does look good with the turkey fletching!

I cut these arrows at 29", put on 125gr field points and took them out to shoot. They all shot well from my sinew backed yew(46#@26") and they weigh between 500gr and 509gr with 2 at 502gr and 2 at 506gr.
