Nice!
Why must we make simple things so complicated?

Thanks guys. Appreciate the kind words.
Well, I received my trade bow today. All I can say is it's beautiful. Unfortunately, I injured my shoulder the other day and can't really shoot a bow at the moment. Anyway, I was the lucky recipient of Kidder's Bamboo Backed ERC Bow. His craftsmanship is excellent. Attention to detail is well displayed in this bow.  I don't think I could be any happier. I can't wait to shoot it. Thanks Kidder, you did an excellent job. I'll get some pics up soon. I'm sure there's more bows getting shipped out real soon. Can't wait to see everyone's work.

Taken a long time to get here, but, straightening is more or less done. Might have one mor session to take out some more of the twist but time is running along and I haven't done the nock overlays, made a string, cleaned the back or finished tillering yet ! So, no pressure then :-[

I received my trade bow from Swampman.....such a beautiful piece of wood, and after a lifetime spent with longbows, I just know when I pick up a bow whether or not it's going to "fit" with my shooting style.....well, I knew immediately that I was going to get along with this bow before I ever strung it!  Pic is literally the first six arrows I ever shot with the bow at 15 yards.  I have a couple treestands specailly set for selfbow ranges and this bow will definitely be hunting this fall.

Thanks Swampman!

Well, its fighting me all the way. As soon as I started flexing it, some of the shaping pulled out. I think I'm going to gently reflex the tips an inch or so. Taking my time with tillering. After a few hours this morning, its at a low brace and drawing to 14 inches would welcome any comments...

RH was above 85% yesterday, think it might have picked up some moisture, might be a good idea to bring it into the house

Opted to flip the tips an inch or two, tips are now level with the back of the handle in a deflex/reflex sort of thing. In for a penny, in for a pound, I took out most of the twist at the same time, just a minor tip adjustment left to go.Any thoughts?

Good work everyone. I sent out some more shipping approvals. Still waiting on a few people but I think we are doing pretty good at this point. That said, as some of you are aware I’ve had to deploy a few reserves and also set up a reserve trade. I think I’ve communicated all necessary information to everyone but if anyone thinks they are missing info please reach out to me. Thanks for everyones hard work and patience!

Taken out to 16", small amount of set (less than 1/2 inch). What do you all think of the tiller?
