Calculate the energy stored in the bow, and compare it to the full draw weight of the bow as a percentage.

Standard efficiency = energy out divided by energy in.  The energy in is what you are storing in the limbs; it is equal to the area under the FD curve, though you probably already knew that :D

I will go with 490.  I would say 480, but it's been taken already (twice in fact)!  Whoever ends up with this bow will be super happy - thanks Brad!

I'm gonna cry!  Just saw this thread, but my guess would have been a bit higher than Trad anyway!  Nice job!  Congrats Tradcraftsman!

Congrats tradcraftsman. It's a really nice bow. I'm lucky to live in Santa Fe. Brad helped me get started making primitive bows. He is very generous and he makes great bows. I learn something from him everyday.  Enjoy the bow..

Thank you so much!!! I have no idea how to say it better. ;D
This will be the first functional wooden bow I've ever seen that I didn't make, and easily the best I've ever shot! :)

Congratulations Tradcraftsman. Brad, Thank You for your generosity to all us trad junkies. I have learned a lot from reading your posts and always hope you chime in with your thoughts on mine when I post. You are a great inspiration and a very generous contributor to the art of making selfbows.
