A pair of rattail file knives
« on: January 17, 2021, 08:29:21 pm »
This is a pair of rattail knives recently finished that I don't think I've shared. One with cholla cactus and epoxy scales the other with maple and I got a hamon on it

Those are great! I really like that cholla handled one. The blade design and that handle are just super!

Nice Bubby. The one with the cholla almost looks like it has Blood on the handle. I’m guessing that is epoxy.

to me, having the markings of a file or rasp on a blade or tool is just like icing on the cake. Just adds so much more character and coolness. and these are very very cool

Beautiful, love them both, you are getting to be a real pro at this stuff. :) Kevin made me a neck knife that looked a lot that them, loved it, sadly guess my neck lace broke somewhere in the CO. mountains this fall and I lost it, :(  wore it every day for years. Hope someone finds it and enjoys it as much as I did.
