Osage "2 Holes"
« on: May 06, 2008, 01:35:19 pm »
I finished this one a few days ago.  It's osage, 71" ntn.  I have had this stave in my woodpile for about three years now, been trying to work up the courage to do something with it.  There were two 1" branches sprouting from it about 12" apart.  The stave also had a sort of deflex reflex shape.  Any way, here it is.

How does it draw and shoot?  Nice job with that stave.

Haven't had much time to shoot yet.  She does draw nice and smooth, though.

That's a beauty - love the way you spaced the holes out.

That is pretty cool lookin.  I hope to have the bravery (ie. skill) to deal with a stave with that sort of character someday.

Very nice bow. I would also like to see a full draw plus an unbraced view.

That's gotta be the coolest looking bow I've seen in a long long time.  Now I know you're embarrassed to go out in public with that thing so I think you ought to send that bow to me so I can have it!   :)
