80 pounds. I REALLY DONT THINK YOUR GONNA HAVE A PROLLEM WITH PENITRATION, YOU COULD SHOOT THROUGH SHEET METAL WITH THAT MONSTROSITY!! :o seriously, with eighty pounds behind a blunt you cold kill a deer. you aint got nuthin to worry about.

Hahaha ;D. I'm actually trying to make my next one 90#. In old Howard Hill movies he still doesn't get a complete pass through, despite 700 grain, 3/8" tapered POC arrows and 85+# bows. You can never have too much power ;).

lol, if thats your style, roll with it. i prefer to have a sharp hand made piece of steel sawin back and forth in tha chest cavity as the critter runs. but like the other guys say, a longer, more gradualy tapering point is a sure thing for more penetration. good luck friend.

I'm sure it's more deadly, but if I miss a vital spot, the arrow pulls free and it might heal. That. And I want my arrow out of the critter, lest it falls or snaps it. Lot of work to replace :P.
